This is the reason for excessive accumulation, exaggerated consumption, the unfair distribution of resources and the terrible dissatisfaction in which man lives submerged. This is the reason for wars, conquests, poverty and the destruction of nature. An entire humanity desperately trying to fill the emptiness it feels.<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n
- Wait a minute. I see the dysfunction in all these attitudes and customs, however, this is all considered normal, isn't it? Everyone behaves this way...<\/o:p><\/span><\/i><\/div>\n
\u2013 Hitting women, having slaves, discriminating against people of color, all of that was considered normal a few hundred years ago according to the level of consciousness that we had, now it is not. All the attitudes that I have mentioned are a consequence of living identified with the mind and the ego. However, it is becoming more and more evident to more people that "normal" is a collective madness that urgently needs to be stopped or we will not survive.<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n
For the first time in the history of evolution, a species has to actively participate in change. \u201cThe evolution of man is the evolution of his consciousness and this cannot evolve unconsciously. The evolution of man is the evolution of his will and this cannot evolve involuntarily. The evolution of man is the evolution of his capacity to do and this cannot be the result of what happens\u201d.<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n
Now I understand what you were saying about the importance of working on ourselves and the internal change that will manifest itself in everything around us. By changing ourselves, we change the world.<\/o:p><\/span><\/i><\/div>\n
- That's how it is. The change we need is not political or social, it is individual. By healing you heal the world.<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n
