Everything is more important than yourself.

Your work, your pending, your partner, your children, everything is before you on your list of priorities and that is why you say that you have neither time nor energy for yourself. And, although you have been told that it is praiseworthy to put everyone before yourself, the reality is that you cannot give anything to anyone if you do not take care of yourself first; The reality is that what you are looking for in others when giving is their attention, their love or their approval. You want to be a "great father" who sacrifices himself for his children, a "selfless wife" who dedicates her life to her husband, a "martyr" who gives his life for his cause... Pure excuses for not taking responsibility for your life. Is that the example you want to give your children? Do you really want them to sacrifice themselves and blame others for their dissatisfaction? Martyrs and sanctimonious people do not bring anything good to the world, they fill it with sadness, guilt and resentment.

In order for you to give something valuable to others and to the world, you have to take care of yourself, your health and well-being first. Only by being well yourself do you have something to share, before the only thing you share is misery. There is nothing more anti-ecological than an unhappy person, contaminating everything around him with sadness and negativity.
