Fifth part of “The Wishes Fulfilled Method” (Article 2)

your goal program
If someone plans their next vacation in more detail than the next five years of their life, then they have a problem. And serious.
Something as important as deciding what they will give their time and energy to is something that many do not even consider. They know their wishes well, but they do not apply the “wishes fulfilled method”: turning wishes into goals, goals into tasks, and tasks into fun.
I've read somewhere that people don't plan to fail; and yet they fail because they do not plan. Actually, what is happening is: most people do not have a program of defined goals. Everyone wants a more fulfilling life, but few make the plan that will lead to it.
How to hit the target if there is no target to aim for? An archer who shoots blindfolded at a target is more likely to hit, if only by chance, than an archer who has no target at all. What is your target?
Good intentions are soon diluted; and punctual efforts are popularly known as “attempts”. For that reason, in all fields of life, there are many trying and few succeeding.
But it is known that shooting into the air in the hope of collecting a piece offers very poor results.
How to set program goals?
The beginner's mistake is to ask what he can do given his circumstances. The expert first asks himself what he wants and then creates the right circumstances to get it. Define your program goals and then create situations that match your purpose.
At first celebrate every effort. Once you have reached the first goals, I suggest you celebrate your small achievements. You don't have to wait for the final result, any sign of success can be your weekly reason for celebration. They are the indicator that things are moving forward.
You can even establish a system of rewards for achieved goal even if the final goal has not been reached yet. For example, give yourself a day off, a massage, or simply keep a journal of successes.
Get your environment to support you
If you have already understood the importance of a goals program, now I would like you to evaluate the option of reinforcing it with a favorable environment to redistribute effort.
Alone we rarely achieve anything of value. But if you have the support of your environment, you can delegate part of the process. That will minimize the need for willpower and discipline.
Think, to what extent does your environment contribute to your success? And what would be your ideal environment? Design your props.
Examples of environment: family complicity, synergistic partners, relevant information and training, access to networks, media, physical fitness, financial leverage, friendly work atmosphere, efficient computer and data processing systems, network of contacts , advisers... in short, everything that helps you achieve more results with less effort.
Another thing you can do is organize a group of Mastermind (mastermind). What does it consist of? It is a group of people who share their dreams in an environment of mutual motivation. They set up regular meetings to exchange resources, active listening, advice and support. It's like a congress of dreamers! Design your “mutual support system”.
Our admired character, Vincent van Gogh, tried to establish a group of painters. He firmly believed in collaborating with other artists, in how much they could teach each other. He invited none other than Paul Gauguin to work in his studio. It offered him "a refuge for friends" where to exchange ideas and share luck. The scarce two months during which they lived together were very fruitful for both, Gauguin finally went to the Pacific to meet his destiny.
There are documented studies that confirm that ninety percent of what you get, and what you don't, has to do with the people you interact with on a regular basis. That includes a partner, family members, partners, collaborators, friends and acquaintances. Which is the reason? The “mimicry effect” causes behaviors, beliefs, habits, and even ways of dressing or speaking to be the same or copied. Since that influence is going to happen, why not choose an environment that is highly inspiring on a personal and professional level?
We have all met hundreds of people in our lives, with some of them we have even lived together for years; and yet, we do not remember many because their contribution to our lives is not remarkable.
But:
We could write a small list with the names of the people with whom we have met briefly and who have impacted us forever...
Quantum Argument: People of high order and coherence create a positive influence that increases that order and coherence in others.
Their consciousness rises to a higher level than they would achieve on their own (evolutionary synergy). In other words, a "higher consciousness" elevates those with whom it comes into contact.
The Manifestation Plan
When I was little I loved adventure movies. Now I like to live the adventure. In front of the screen I was easily aroused. However, hearing three magic words from the film's hero, I relaxed. And these words were: "I have a plan".
I am sure you are aware that a plan is the bridge to your dreams. Don't build dreams, better build the bridges (the plans) that lead to them. I often say that having a plan (however regular) is much better than having none at all. And having two plans is better than better. The second plan, plan B, is the "contingency plan" an alternative in case things do not go as expected.
When I set my plans I like to think:
A plan like this cannot fail.
I like to make plans and I like even more to fulfill them. There is nothing more didactic than a plan (planning teaches).
But how many of us have a plan? There are people who live according to their plans; and the rest, according to other people's plans.
What follows is the heart of this book and, in short, the secret to making a wish come true. In short, this is "the wish-fulfillment method."
Define your dream and write it down specifically, turn it into manageable intermediate goals. Next, break each of them down into specific tasks, the simpler the better, and finally, put them on your agenda and assign them realistic dates. Take action.
The time has come to write down your Manifestation Plan, to translate your desire into action. Until you put your goals in writing, you only have intentions that are seeds without soil. I've found that the number one reason people don't get what they want is because they don't have a plan—good or bad. And the second: they don't write it.
Let's get to work.
In the first column of the diagram, summarize your mission. A specific goal. Whatever it is you want to accomplish, make it the creative focus of your life. The only requirement is that your desire must respect your values; that is, what is important to you right now. And it's up to you to get it...
In the second column you must be more specific and identify sub-goals: the priority steps to achieve it. If you were specific in declaring your personal mission, it will be easy for you to achieve your goals. But you can still break down these priority goals into more specific and concrete tasks…
In the third column, be as concrete as you can by translating the intermediate steps into small manageable actions. Tasks so simple that they may seem trivial but essential in global computing. The more you go down into the level of detail, the easier it will be for you to take action.
When you have finished writing them down, transfer these tasks to your agenda, give them a date and reasonable deadlines.
Learn to love each task for its significance in the result, especially the most uncomfortable. It is what is said: "Do what it takes, for as long as it takes."
You already have a creative action plan (the road map to your happiness).
It is more than many have.
Bestselling author Jack Canfield suggests "The Rule of 5": Do five tasks a day in the direction of your dream. No matter how thick the tree is, if you give it five axes every day sooner or later you will bring it down. Remember, five tasks a day, thirty-five a week, one hundred and fifty a month are enough... And you will achieve your goal.
Act outside of your working day, at night, even on weekends. I know full well what double effort means and I also know the reward. I invested the time I had, and the time I didn't have: nights, weekends, vacations. This is how most successful projects start, squeezing the day.
·       What is your project?
·       Your project: big dream.
·       Your plan: great process.
·       Your service: great experience.
·       Your product: great satisfaction.
Now fill in your Manifestation Plan:
             MY OBJECTIVE PRIORITY GOALS ACTIONS/TASKS

Where to start? Perhaps by the point where you find least difficulty, the point of least resistance. That will give you the drive and confidence to tackle more arduous tasks later. Or perhaps for the most ungrateful and from there, sew and sing. In both cases, once you're on the move, the motivation to get started will drive you forward and you'll find it easier to move on to new tasks. Motivation comes after action; so don't wait until you're motivated to start, you might never start at all.
