- Sounds awful. And what can we do about it?
– This thing we're doing. Wake up, stop blindly following, reclaim our personal power and center. We need to go beyond what is established, stop chasing the unattainable carrot of the external and turn our eyes to create a center. Only awareness can bring about change. Shall we continue?
– We continue.
– Let's first analyze the attitudes that go outwards. Every time you fall into one of them, you lose personal power and move away from your center:
·        Make the search and care of the external your most important priority.
We look outside for the remedy for our loneliness or sadness, for our lack of self-love or feelings of worthlessness. However, everything external is transitory, whether it is a new car or a new relationship, everything tends to change and eventually ends. Today's honeymoon is tomorrow's broken heart.
·        Using any manipulative game instead of being sincere and authentic.
Manipulating others by abusing what you know, what you have or any kind of power you have over them is betraying yourself. The ego inflates itself, believing itself to be smarter or more skilled than others, taking advantage of their needs or fears. This is how you learned to get what you want by faking and cheating.
A list of some manipulative games so you can identify them when you fall for them:

– The seduction

- The excuses
– blame others
– indifference
- To rebel
- Check
- Hide
– Shrink
– explain everything
– Laziness
- Arrogance
– compare
– Submit
– condescension
- Exaggerate

– Play the victim
