Second part of “The method of fulfilled wishes” (Article 3)

The Vision creates the Mission
If you still do not know what your highest purpose (mission) consists of, your heart will soon discover it, because the simple fact of holding this book already reflects your intention to give yourself to it. Those who read this book are leaders in their lives, otherwise they would not have acquired it or be attracted by its contents.
Now, imagine an "ideal" life for, say, the next five years. Design in your mind all the details. How does it look like? How would it be? imagine a day such that when it comes, you can look back and not recognize the person you were five years before.
You have just created your vision, and your mission will be to make it a reality.
Your Vision is the mental image of your mission. The eyes see, the mind visualizes. The power is in the mind, not in the eyes. Holding the vision of what you want is a creative act. Take advantage of the power of visualization, because it is one of the most powerful tools you have. Your vision channels and directs a power greater than your own.
Your Mission is the challenge of discovering who you really are; or rather, the person you can become. It reflects your highest values, and honoring it leads you to full meaning. Express it in writing to give it its first breath of life. Your mission constitutes your highest purpose for your good and that of all others.
Sustaining the vision of your mission at all times will motivate and inspire you in the face of difficulties. We should all nurture the vision of life that we desire.
Leaders of themselves hold the vision of their mission.
Think, live and act like the person who has already achieved their dream and you will activate the associated emotion. That emotion will act as the point of attraction for your dream and create it in reality. Launch a "rumor" about your future, spread it, and wait for it to come to you again as your opportunity. That is, "act as if..." behave as if what you want has already happened.
Some people forget their dream. They soon lose sight of their mission. They boarded a boat in order to reach the other shore. But in the midst of the vicissitudes of the journey, they believed their desire to reach the other shore impossible. Now the sails remain folded. And staying afloat is the only goal. That's where all the energy goes. And meanwhile, they never get anywhere… This is a story as sad as it is frequent.
I hope that's not your case.
We should all give ourselves to a mission for our own satisfaction and the greatest benefit of all. And no one should live a life they don't connect with. Can you imagine a world where everyone loves what they dedicate their life to? How simple it would be to live in the midst of so much satisfaction!
Declare your highest purpose. Your mission in life. Your call.
The first reason why a person does not achieve their desires is due to not having defined them as a mission.
The second reason It is not having made any commitment.
The third, Believing that just wishing for it is enough.
Imagine that you are participating in my basic NLP seminar "Creating the Future"... and that in this environment of mutual stimulation I ask you to write your higher purpose on the back of your business card. The little space will force you to specify. Imagine how you feel once you have declared it in writing. Now, would you like to share it with others? On one side of the card your name and on the other your mission. Cool.
Suppose time passes and what is written is a reality. How would you feel? In short: write down everything important to you. Writing is very powerful. Today we know that language, beyond describing reality, literally creates it. The key is to "think in writing" (in front of the paper).
Write your values. I will not tire of insisting that personal values are the priority of priorities. The mission and vision of a fulfilled life rest on them.
You already have a mission.
You can tweak it, but it will essentially remain unchanged. Later you can extend it, redefine it, modify it, but fundamentally it will not change. It is open to amendments, like the constitution of a country, however its spirit remains unchanged. Do you want to make it the axis of your life?
An example mission (mine). Didn't you want a real example of a mission?
“Constantly learn the best personal development techniques, Coaching and NLP. Through: introspection, training, courses, books, conferences, audios, videos, direct experience, etc… And simply share what has been learned to positively impact the lives of as many people as possible and thus help them expand their consciousness, increase their potential, achieve well-being and their dreams.
From what follows:
I do not write books or teach courses, "I develop universes that lead people to achieve well-being and success."
I do not teach motivational seminars, "I share life experiences that the soul does not forget".
I do not offer therapeutic consulting or coaching, "I release dormant talents to produce dreams"
And the main thing, my mission supports a vision: a better world.
The sculptor Henry Moore said something that made me think: “The secret of life is to have a task, something to put your soul into. And the most important thing is that it must be something that is impossible to do.” This question is for you:
What do you think is impossible today that if it suddenly became possible, it would completely change your life?
Did you know that people are programmed for a certain level of success? we even have schedules about the amount of money we can handle or earn. It sounds incredible but it's true. Above a certain amount, it is difficult to imagine something greater.
In my intensive seminar “Beliefs: the power to create or destroy”, we review the mental patterns” on all limits. And I ask attendees to raise their expectations: Shoot for the stars! Excitement fills the room as participants understand that a mental pattern can always be changed.
let's review now your mission to check its robustness. I offer you twelve guidelines (and a half) for its enunciation:
1.     Includes action verbs.
2.     Formulate it in positive terms.
3.     Consecrate it to the service of others.
4.     Focus on what you want. Not in avoiding the unwanted.
5.     Save unnecessary or redundant words.
6.     Construct short sentences and avoid ambiguous words.
7.     Includes dates and deadlines for compliance.
8.     When explaining it, let it be understood.
9.     Be concrete and specific is summed up in a few sentences.
10.  May it be at the service of your most important values.
11.  Make it ecological with the rest of your values.
12.  It is manageable by you, it is possible and it is ambitious.
½ It amuses you, you are passionate about it.
During this day you should only take care of what you want and not how you will get it, we will get to that.
Writing your purpose is only the first step. Read what is written. Hear how it sounds in your own voice and notice how you feel when you say it.
Once you have established your highest purpose, which is equivalent to establishing a commitment to yourself, all the decisions and actions you take must fit. Living according to your mission will help you choose between what is offered to you at each moment. Choosing is easy when you use the question:
Does my choice bring me closer or further away from my life purpose?
