Sixth part of “The Wishes Fulfilled Method” (Article 5)

an inspiring story
On one occasion, with the first morning sun, a caterpillar was walking briskly towards the mountain. Next to the road, a grasshopper -with its four hands in its pockets- asked him:
– Where are you going, caterpillar?
And this one, without stopping walking, because she was advancing little by little and had no time to lose, answered:
– I had a beautiful dream last night: I dreamed that from the top of the great mountain I looked at the valley. I liked that vision so much that I decided to make it a reality.
The grasshopper, while the caterpillar was slowly moving away, said:
– You must be crazy! How can you get to the top? You? An insignificant caterpillar? For you, a stone will be a mountain, a puddle an ocean, a branch a hindrance and any obstacle the end of your dream.
But the caterpillar paid no attention to him and continued forward at a slow but determined pace, without taking the top of the mountain from his sight.
At noon, an ugly beetle asked him where he was going with so much effort under that merciless sun. The caterpillar, wiping his forehead with a handkerchief, told his dream again, this time to the beetle, who burst into a great laugh of derision:
– Not even I, having legs bigger than yours, would try to reach the top. And she curled up into a ball and rolled down the slope, the way he liked it so much.
In the afternoon, a spider advised the caterpillar to desist from his ambitious quest to reach the top:
– You will never make it! -Told him-. I tried and failed. Trust me, it's not that bad here. And a mosquito that had just been caught in his net went to snack.
At that time, the sun retired to rest, night fell, and exhausted and without strength the caterpillar decided to rest too. With the night came the cold. With the last effort of the day he built a place to spend the night: a simple cocoon attached to a twig.
– Tonight I will embrace my dream. -And that was the last thing he said before "dying" from sheer exhaustion to one life and "being born" from sheer illusion to another.
The grasshopper, the beetle and the spider went to commiserate with the poor caterpillar, the craziest being in this world, who had built his own tomb long before he could achieve his unrealizable dream. What a pity it gave them!
The next day, when the new day dawned, those little animals that commented even on the shameless audacity of the caterpillar and the severe warning that its death meant for everyone, unexpectedly saw how that cocoon began to break.
Soon, and with great astonishment, they saw some antennae that could not be from the caterpillar they thought was dead. Slowly, beautiful blue butterfly wings - which could not be caterpillars either - emerged from within that cocoon.
The butterfly, already with its wings spread, looked around and took flight in the midst of everyone's astonishment.
Soon they saw her get lost in the sky in her happy flight. Now if they were sure that nothing would stop her in her ascent to the top from where she could admire the entire valley as she had dreamed.
He had died to one life and been born to another for having fulfilled his dream. So it was.
As in the story of the caterpillar-butterfly, this is not the end but the beginning of something remarkable.
A fulfilled dream is a new beginning, the work is not finished. If you want to keep it alive you must feed it with all kinds of thoughts and attitudes that nourish it. But if you take it for granted and neglect it, it could fade.
Dreams need a lot of love before and also after they come true. Never forget.
After closing this book. I invite you to also close your eyes and imagine your life as you want it in the coming years. If you then make decisions, reach your peak, take action, spread your wings, writing it will have been worth it.
And now it's time to say goodbye with the hope that if one day I publish another book on personal success you will no longer have any need to read it. Instead tell me your testimonial, I will wait for your e-mail.
Thank you for choosing to read “The Wish Fulfilled Method.” Thank you for coming to this appointment with your dream. As you may have already realized, this book is a date with yourself, at the top of your heart's dream. I thank you for your warm company until this last article. It was a pleasure sharing this time with you. I can only wish you a life full of purpose in each of its days.
Three questions that can change your life:
1.  What is the best way to use my time right now?
a)    What is really important right now?
b)    What could I spend my day doing, instead of going to work, so that I never had to go to “work” again?
c)    Where will I be in a year if I don't change anything?
2.  What important tasks bring me closer to the result and what urgent tasks take me away?
3.  What do I choose to do and when will I do it?
Three tasks for immediate action:
1.      Make a map of your time. Draw a circle and segment it into portions according to how you spend your day: work, rest, leisure, family, culture, exercise, spirituality, entertainment, shopping, etc. Paint the part that does not lead you to your goal red and the part that does green. If the circle is more red than green, adjust your schedule until green dominates. Next to it, draw a new circle with a new distribution of time. In this new proposal, prioritize what is important to you. Set your vertical time and your horizontal time. Define short-term (within the next three months), medium-term (within the next twelve months) and long-term (within the next five years) goals.
2.      Make a commitment to perform at least one task from your "Manifestation Plan" each day. One a day is enough to start, although five would be better. But don't let a day go by without doing anything that brings you closer to your dream. One a day is better than none today and two the next day. On a scale of one to ten, rate your level of engagement daily. Climbing to the top requires a certain pace. Take small steps, but sustained over time, rather than a great effort at the last minute.
3.      Sharpen the axe, get ready for success. Establish your continuous learning program (lectures, DVDs, CDs, courses and seminars, conferences) and give yourself an annual budget for that purpose. Give yourself an agenda and put a date on all the tasks that will lead you to the top of your dream.
An idea to summarize:

It is not the aptitude—the preparation—that counts, but the attitude—the predisposition. Achievement depends on the persistence with which you work on the causes that will create the desired result. fall in love
