The forest is on fire, and, while all the animals flee to save their skins, a hummingbird repeatedly collects water from the river to pour it on the fire and passed close to a lion flying at high speed.

The frightened lion asked him:

– Hummingbird, where are you going in such a hurry?

He replied:

– I am carrying water in my beak to put out the forest fire.
The lion rebuked him:
– But there is very little water you can carry. Do you think that with that small beak you are going to put out the fire?
– I know I can't just, replies the little bird, but I'm doing my part.
