4. Free yourself from the need to be superior.
True nobility has nothing to do with being better than others. It's about being better than you were before. Focus on your growth, with the constant awareness that there is no one better than anyone else on this planet. We all emanate from the same life force. We all have the mission to fulfill the essence for which we are destined, and we have what we need to fulfill that destiny. None of this is possible when you consider yourself superior to others. This saying is no less true because it is old: We are all equal in the eyes of God.
Forget the need to feel superior when you see God revealing himself in everyone. Do not value others based on their appearance, their achievements, possessions and other ego-imposed scales. When you project feelings of superiority, that is what is returned to you, and it leads to resentment and ultimately feelings of hostility. These feelings become the vehicle that takes you away from the intention. A Course in Miracles talks about this need to be special and superior: Feeling special always draws comparisons. It is produced by a lack that is seen in the other and that keeps searching and not losing sight of the deficiencies that can be perceived.
