The superior ego, which is wise and subtle, in order to be able to locate itself in our physical reality, divides itself into several smaller egos: the physical ego, which takes care of our body; the emotional ego, which deals with feelings, and the mental ego, which deals with thoughts. The higher ego delegates to these egos the responsibility of fitting us into the earthly world.
At the beginning, when we are children and we begin to grow, we learn everything with joy. The purity of the higher ego makes us see what is good and exciting in life, and protects us with innocence, which acts as a guardian angel.
At this stage we are free, for we have not yet been introduced to fear.
The little egos grow little by little in each one of us, according to the qualities that we bring at birth. This is how we acquire security and fulfill our life mission.
the earthly ego
We begin to grow physically and, at the same time, reason and emotion develop, which will teach us a lesson every day.
Happy and free, we enter the impressive jungle, which is life, with great curiosity. One day, we come across a robot on the road that is dressed in money signs and has an ability that seduces us. He gives us small fake gold coins that shine a lot, and tells us that with them we can buy absolutely anything, even happiness. At this very moment we begin to move away from our innocent souls, which are our shield of light. Then our protection disappears. In the gloomy darkness of the jungle fear emerges, which appears as a cold wind that pulls, behind it, chains that serve to enslave us.
Fear and doubt surprise our earthly egos, which become frightened and, to protect themselves, become allies of fear, given their desire to survive.
Little by little, the egos begin to inflate like balloons and demand from us every day more satisfiers of pleasure and power. We begin to hear repeatedly, from within: "I only me, mine, for me, give me, I want more." Fear, satisfied, growls and with its cold breath tells us: "I'm going to take you away, you're going to lose", and begins to manipulate us. Then we become numb with fear and cannot think.
At that moment, fear makes a pack of cards appear. Each card shows a different fear. The fear of illness is the one that enslaves us the most, because it leads us by the hand to meet the greatest fear that exists, which is the fear of dying. Then comes the fear of not having, which immediately limits abundance and takes away our security, and so the fears continue to parade: the fear of pain and suffering, the fear of not being loved, the fear of taking risks, the fear of not succeed; the fear of losing freedom, the fear of not being happy. We can list endless fears that we ourselves choose, and even invent more.
From one moment to another, the magic of life escapes us; Sad he takes with him the fairies, the goblins, the good wizards. And we stopped being children...
But when we are silent we can hear a sweet and beautiful voice that comes from within us. It is the voice of the higher ego that tells us: "Wake up, wake up! Find your Consciousness again, you don't have to live enslaved to fear, remember that you are a little Spark of God."
Reflection
With sadness I realize that there is no peace in the world, since human beings constantly live in all kinds of wars. The reasons are fear, excessive materialism and a large dose of selfishness.
I don't want to accept that this continues to happen. Therefore, I face my earthly ego to start educating it; I know that I begin to change to help the good in me. I am one more grain of sand that will help change this reality with my positive thoughts.
