Third part of “The Wishes Fulfilled Method” (Article 5)

The power of the focused mind
Imagine that you find a digital camera on the street. You don't know who it belongs to or what to do with it. So you think that giving it to lost property is a good idea; but before you do, you want to find out something about its owner and you examine the photos in the camera's memory. Through the images that appear on the screen, you discover what its owner photographed before losing it.
Now imagine that your mind is a camera. And that, instead of taking photos in two dimensions, it does something much more complex: it creates experiences in three dimensions and it also does it out there, in reality! Can you imagine a world where the focus of mental attention impresses reality?
Following the simile of the digital camera, every day I examine the “photos” of the “camera” of my clients. How? Answers: Simply by examining your reality I can get an idea of your thought patterns and focus of attention. Some people, but not all, are deluding themselves (or at least not telling themselves the whole truth); and they could also lead me to deceive myself, if it weren't for the fact that I always take more into account the reality of a person than what they say about it.
His reality speaks so loud that I don't hear what he says.
The focus of attention is what a person puts their time and energy into. What you focus on is what will ultimately permeate your reality.
When you hold a focused vision in your mind for most of the day, the week, the month, or the year… it is practically impossible for you not to end up seeing it in reality. Believe it.
You can improve everything you achieve in your life if you direct your mind to your desired point of focus. Whatever you focus your attention on will increase; if you withdraw it, it will decrease. That is why it is very important to put your attention on what you want and not on what you do not want.
You attract what you think about because it becomes your focus.
This is the task of the third day: every morning, after waking up, focus your attention on the kind of day you want to live. Thank him as if you've waited for him all your life. Then get up and believe it.
magnetic thoughts
Like and like attract. Every thought is magnetic, it emits its own energy. Not some yes —what you want— and others no —what you reject. All means all, the law of attraction works by inclusion, not exclusion.
Ever since Earl Nightingale said, "You become what you think about," I haven't missed a day of feeding my mind with quality thoughts. In that aspect, I apply a healthy mental diet. Remember these six words:
You-become-what-you-think.
If you use elevated words, you will raise your vibration and that of what you attract into your experience. Using positive words brings you together with positive minds using those same words. And conversely, negative thoughts connect with other negative thinkers because they agree on their low output.
This is a really powerful idea that I remember reading somewhere: "If man could wish for something without worrying, this wish would be instantly fulfilled." between the moment of the formulation of a desire and its manifestation.
Like everything in life, you can learn to desire.
To begin with, the "creative desire" does not harbor the absence of the desired. What is said here is that thinking about what you miss prevents you from achieving it. It is the “obstructive desire”, to which we are so accustomed (it includes the presupposition of a lack).
The "creative desire" does not focus on absence, but on a potential reality. It is a trusting state of mind that cannot be established without fully accepting that there is nothing you cannot be, do or have. No one can get less than they could without their own consent. W Goethe said, "To have more, you must first be more." And not the other way around. He knew it, many of us already know it and now you know it.
Everything you achieve is a consequence of your way of thinking.
In the same way that a flower does not make spring, an isolated thought is not significant. A happy idea, a spontaneous inspiration, a fleeting desire, achieve little if they do not become a mental habit. However, one dominant thought can transform your life. And indeed it does. Although most people do not change their mental habits because they are not disciplined: they do not insist on changing their recurring negative thoughts.
You must have heard that a thought is replaced by another thought, not by the desire to get rid of it. Certain. But how long does it take? Depends. On average, about three weeks, which is, more or less, the time it takes for the blood flow to renew itself and to impregnate the entire organism with the vibration of the new thought.
If you are interested in learning more about the Law of Attraction, I recommend reading the book “Ask and it will be given to you" by Esther and Jerry Hicks or The Secret (Editorial Urano).
Three questions that can change your life:
1.       What thoughts hold me back and block me?
2.       How far am I willing to go on this?
3.       At what level would you be proud?
Three tasks for immediate action:
1.   Write down all your talents, skills and abilities, whether they are developing or not. We all have an arsenal of untapped talent. Avoid discarding a talent no matter how obvious it may seem. What for you does not suppose an effort and lacks value, for others it may be a true miracle. Ask people who know you what you have a certain skill at. What activity or task are you particularly good at? Since it is something simple for you, and you do not attribute any value to it, you will be surprised by his answer.
2.   Next to the list of your natural talents, write next to another list of things you would like to do. Now add a third column with how it will improve the lives of others. Finally, it relates the elements of each column with an arrow. Look for the common space between the three columns (what you would like to do, what is useful and what reflects your talents).
3.   Build a collage of images, your “Treasure Map”. Cut out and paste the photos that represent your dream on a panel. It doesn't matter if you borrow images from magazines and catalogs or retouch and edit them. Choose an image as a symbol of each of your goals and paste them on the collage. Add your image in the center and accompany it with everything that inspires you and you want to be part of your life. If you use a computer, your "Treasure Map" can become your desktop screen.

An idea to summarize:

More than your talent, what is being tested is your unwavering determination and commitment. Talent is not as decisive as persistence. Remember that the equivalent of trust, and infinite patience produces immediate results. Until next monday.
