A brief journey in the beginnings of Psychology.

Part 1 of 3. By Manuel Morin.

I want to tell you that through psychology and the various psychotherapeutic approaches, great and important contributions have been made to explain conduct and behavior. Journeys into the past are made to understand how it determines the future. It is observed how, according to the stimulus and the response, an explainable consequence is generated. It is determined that the person "plays" the most important role, since the therapeutic work is now focused on the individual and their needs.
Currently, psychology is a discipline taken to the level of science that studies the behavior and conduct of the individual in the various circumstances of his life. Understands human behavior through contemporary philosophical approaches.
The various psychological currents seek to respond to the emotional and social needs of the person within their historical context. In this way, there are three psychological currents that predominate. Time has passed since the first experimental psychology laboratory emerged or since the psychological schools postulated their first premises: structuralism, functionalism, behaviorism and Gestalt.
