Once upon a time in some distant country there was an old and humble carpenter named Geppetto. I lived alone dreaming of having a son of flesh and blood. Unable to realize his dream, he made a wooden doll and named him Pinocchio. When he finished doing it, he looked out his window to see the sky and asked a star for a wish: that Pinocchio would come to life.

That same night, while Geppetto was sleeping, a fairy came and touched Pinocchio with her magic wand; so, he gave it life. But at the same time, a little cricket came out of nowhere and presented himself to Pinocchio and told him that he was his Conscience (all of us who have been children know this story very well).

The cricket Consciousness did not detach from Pinocchio: He guided and advised him, he talked to him about everything that is good and told him that he should be careful not to make mistakes. It made him see everything that is bad.

This is how they began a long journey of experiences and negative experiences together because Pinocchio made friends with boys who did not know about values or principles, but, despite the fact that he suffered a lot, he learned great lessons of conscience and, repentant, he returned to the right path.

As truth and good triumph in the long run, this story ends with a Pinocchio that the fairy turns into a human, an awakened being, who can decide and choose the path of his life, giving the best of himself with respect and love.

And everyone was happy!
